Will I just “have” this forever?
Have you ever found yourself wondering…
"Why am I still hurting even though I've already tried everything? Physical therapy, massage, stretching, injections, and just taking time off isn’t working. Nothing’s working! Am I just broken? Will I have just ‘have’ this forever?"
You're not alone.
You've been taught that pain means your body is broken or that you simply have to accept it as part of getting older. It’s easy to feel hopeless when standard advice and treatments don’t seem to provide lasting relief.
But what if pain is actually giving you incredible information? What if a small shift in how you understand pain is the key to setting you free? What if—and if I can say it bluntly—much of what you've been taught about chronic pain is total BS?
That's one of the reasons I'm excited to be participating in the Signal Shift Summit: From Chronic Pain to Lasting Comfort.
It's a FREE, 100% virtual event featuring movement specialists, health practitioners, and wellness experts, all sharing practical ways to better understand your body and move toward real, lasting comfort instead of endlessly chasing temporary relief.
In my session, "The Tissue That Controls Everything", we'll explore how understanding what's happening beneath the surface can completely change the way you approach pain. I'll share practical ideas you can begin applying right away to help you better understand your body and become a more active participant in your own recovery.
Throughout the summit you'll also get:
Practical video sessions from experts in movement, neuroscience, nutrition, functional medicine, massage, and more.
Simple strategies you can begin using at home.
Free resources and gifts from many of the speakers.
A whole-body perspective on why pain is rarely as simple as one body part.
The summit is completely free, and the sessions will be released daily August 17–21.

I'd love to see you there!
One more thing…
I've been quietly planning something that I'm almost ready to share.
Imagine spending six days immersed in this work—slowing down, moving your body, learning, exploring, and giving yourself the time and space to reconnect with how your body feels... all in a beautiful setting by the ocean.
That's all I'm saying for now.
I'll be sharing the details very soon, and if you've been craving a trip that's equal parts adventure, restoration, and learning, I think you're going to want to keep an eye on your inbox.
More soon.

Because chronic pain is not always coming from one damaged muscle, joint, or body part. Pain can be influenced by the nervous system, fascia, movement patterns, stress, and compensation throughout the body. If you only keep treating the area that hurts, you may miss the bigger pattern that is keeping the pain going.
-
Yes — it can. Fascia surrounds and connects muscles, nerves, joints, and other tissues throughout the body. When it becomes restricted or unable to move well, it can contribute to tension, stiffness, limited mobility, and compensation patterns that may show up as pain.
-
Because pain is more complex than tissue damage alone. You can have very real pain even when imaging does not show a major injury. The nervous system, fascia, previous injuries, stress, and movement patterns can all influence how the body experiences and responds to pain.
-
Not necessarily. Aging can bring changes to the body, but ongoing pain is not something you automatically have to accept. The body remains adaptable, and improving movement, mobility, fascial health, recovery, and nervous system regulation may help you feel and function better at many different ages.
-
A whole-body approach looks beyond the exact place where you feel pain. It considers how fascia, the nervous system, movement, stress, recovery, and compensation patterns may all be interacting. Instead of only trying to quiet the symptom, the goal is to better understand what may actually be driving it.
