We are creatures of habit. We all get caught doing the same workouts over and over. The same routines, the same stretches, the same pain management strategies. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, limited mobility, athletic plateaus, poor sleep, or a sense that your body has more to give, continuing the status quo will keep you stuck.

Our Approach

Two methodologies. One powerful combination.

Strategic Fascia Release (Julia Blackwell, The Fascia Remedy) Fascia is the connective tissue system that organizes and support every structure in your body. When fascia becomes restricted from injury, stress, repetitive movement, or old compensation patterns, it can limit mobility, contribute to pain, affect posture, and keep your body working harder than it needs to.

Julia's method combines targeted compression with active movement to release fascial adhesions at the root, not just the surface. This is precision work that reorganizes how your body holds itself. Plus, the in-person, hands-on format takes it to a level that surpasses what's possible on a screen.

CFR: Cortical Field Re-education (Monica Lesslie, Live Your Bliss) CFR is a nervous system regulation modality that uses novel, non-habitual movement to interrupt deep compensation patterns stored in the brain and body. While many approaches focus primarily on muscles and joints, CFR focuses on the nervous system itself. This work gently but powerfully stimulates new neuro-sequences, restoring communication between brain and tissue, and creating the neurological conditions for lasting change.

Together, these two approaches address what most therapies overlook entirely: the connection between your fascial system, your nervous system, and the movement patterns your brain has been defaulting to for years, even decades. This combination is the key for ease and longevity of movement.

What To Expect

6 pm Thursday evening, August 7th — 6:30 pm Sunday, August 9th

Over the course of the retreat, you'll experience:

  • Fascia release work (both with recovery tools and some “foot-on” work — which is as powerful as it sounds)

  • CFR sessions designed to introduce your nervous system to movements it's never made before

  • Guided movement and recovery practices

  • Nervous system regulation tools you can take home and use for life

  • Education on your own body's patterns, so you better understand why you feel the way you do and where to focus your efforts moving forward
