  • Most doctors are trained to diagnose structural damage or disease, not movement patterns, fascial restriction, or nervous system dysregulation. If your back pain isn’t caused by a fracture, infection, or severe pathology, it often falls outside the scope of what Western medicine is designed to treat effectively.

  • Imaging shows structure, not function. Many people have herniated discs, degeneration, or “abnormal” findings with no pain at all, while others experience significant pain with clean scans. Back pain often comes from fascial tension, compensation patterns, or instability—none of which show up clearly on imaging.

  • Medication and rest are commonly prescribed because they reduce symptoms quickly and fit within time-limited medical visits. However, they rarely address the underlying cause of back pain, such as poor movement mechanics, fascial dehydration, or nervous system overprotection—leading pain to return.

  • No. Most low back pain is not caused by a single injury or damaged structure. It is often the result of accumulated stress, poor posture, repetitive movement, restricted fascia, or imbalance in how force is distributed through the body.

  • A systems-based approach that looks at fascia, movement patterns, posture, and the nervous system often produces better results. When you restore space, hydration, and communication within the body, pain frequently decreases—even when it’s been present for years.
